본 책은 교사의 현재와 미래를 대비하는 전략서다. 어떻게 하면 수업을 잘 할 수 있는지 이론부터 실제까지 상세하게 안내하고 있다. 특정 수업 방법에 한정하지 않고 다양한 교수ㆍ학습 방법을 제시하고 있다. 협동학습, 질문수업, 문제중심학습, 토의ㆍ토론 수업, 배움 중심 수업, 거꾸로교실, 과정 중심 평가 등 교육현장에서 사용되고 있는 교수 전략을 총망라하고 있다.
