저자는 이 책에서 각 제국들의 제국 경영 키워드를 명쾌하게 제시한다. 애굽의 제국 경영 키워드로는 ‘자연’을, 앗수르의 제국 경영 키워드로는 ‘경계’를, 바벨론, 페르시아, 헬라, 로마의 제국 경영 키워드로는 ‘교육’, ‘숫자’, ‘융합’, ‘관용’을 각각 들었다. 그러나 저자가 이 책을 통해 무엇보다 강조하는 것은 ‘하나님의 세계경영’이다. ‘제국이여, 영원하라’는 구호를 외치던 제국들도 결국은 멸망했다. 자연, 경계, 교육, 숫자, 융합 그리고 관용. 이 모든 것은 인간이 어떻게 마음대로 주무르며 누군가를 지배하는 데 사용되어질 기재들이 아닌, 오히려 이 모든 것은 하나님의 세계경영을 위해 함축된 장치들이라는 것을 저자는 분명히 밝히고 있다.
이를 통해 독자들은 한 개인의 가치가 온 천하보다 소중하게 평가된다는 것과 천하보다 귀하게 평가된 바로 그 개인에게 하나님께서 민족과 국가를 ‘선물’로 주셨다는 사실을 깨닫게 될 것이다. 결론적으로 저자는 이 책을 통해 성경이 개인적, 가정적, 민족적이며 동시에 모든 민족적인 책이라는 것을 드러내고 있다.

저자소개

저자 Byoungho Zoh는 created the \'Tong\' method of studying the Bible, an approach that fuses rationality and sentimentality as well as the cultures of the East and the West together. He is the President of Bible Tongdokwon, and educational institution for studying the Word of God. He chaired the \'21st Century Future Church Conference: The Companionship of the East and the West\' for 10,000 ministers in 2007. In 2008, he acted as the co-representative of the \'Re-Orientation thru the Bible\'s Seoul Declaration of 140 Korean Theologians, and has authored more than 30 books. He is a speaker at the 500th Anniversary of Martin Luters\'s Nailing of his 95 Theses to the Door of All Saints Church Wittenberg 2017 Congress, Germany.

통通박사 조병호는
지난 30여 년간 한국 교회에 성경통독을 퍼뜨리고, 학문화한 성경통독 전문가이다. 이제, 통通성경의 세계화를 위해 열정을 쏟고 있다.

2004년 독일 신학사전 RGG4에 아티클 ‘세계기독학생선교운동
(Studentische Missionsbewegung)’을 기고했다.

2006년 삶의 방법론이자 새로운 성경 읽기의 방식으로서 ‘통(通)’을 최초로 말했다.
2008년 한국 신학자 140인 서울선언 ‘성경을 통通한 재정향’의 공동대표로 책임을 감당했다.
2014년 ‘통通성경 포뮬라(Formula for TongBible)’를 발표했다.
